The store sells to customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia. This notice describes the information used to take an order, ship it, answer support mail, and measure advertising. It is not a description of tools that were not identified.
Information we use
Order information includes your name, email address, shipping address, phone number if you provide one, the items purchased, and the payment status returned by the payment provider. We do not ask you to send a full card number to the support inbox. Payment card details are handled by the checkout provider.
Support messages include whatever you write to support@metabolay.store.
Technical data includes the browser and device data that the storefront theme and Google Tag Manager receive, such as pages viewed and the advertising click identifiers that Google Ads uses.
Why we use it
We use order information to take payment, arrange delivery, handle a refund request, and reply to you. We use Google Ads, delivered through the Google Tag Manager container GTM-KJDKXJZL installed on the theme, to measure whether an advertisement led to a visit or a purchase. We did not identify Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel, the TikTok Pixel, or Klaviyo as active tools, and this notice does not claim that they run.
Cookies and advertising
Google Ads can store or read cookies and similar identifiers to count conversions and to limit how often an ad is shown. You can refuse or delete those cookies in your browser settings. You can also manage Google advertising at adssettings.google.com. If a cookie banner is shown by the theme, use it as well. Refusing advertising cookies does not block you from browsing the store, but the checkout still needs the information required to place an order.
Who receives it
Shopify hosts the store and the checkout. The payment provider used at checkout receives payment data. A fulfillment provider receives the name and address needed to dispatch the parcel. Google receives the advertising events sent by the tag above. We do not sell your personal information as a product.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention rules that apply to the sale require, and for as long as needed to handle a refund request made inside the 90-day window. Support emails are kept long enough to finish the conversation and any follow-up about that order.
Your choices
Email support@metabolay.store to ask for a copy of the order information we hold, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. If you are in the United Kingdom, you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. If you are in Canada, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in Australia, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. If you live in a United States state that gives you a privacy request right, you may use the same email address to make that request. We do not apply European Union rules to countries this store does not serve.
